Hana Bui (HB) is an Intercultural Trainer for expatriates in Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos. She has coached and trained for expats there who hold leadership and management roles in multinational corporations and non-governmental organizations. These expats come from Western and Eastern sides of the world have been beneficial by her sophisticated knowledge of both Eastern and Western cultures, and the above South East Asia countries’ cultures in particular.

She holds an MA Globalization and Communications from University of Leicester, UK, and an MBA from University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam where she comes from. She is proficient in English, Vietnamese and can converse in Burmese. Prior to the current job, HB was working in both corporate and entrepreneur environments for eighteen years, in human resources, communications, and international trade (including seven years in HR services in Myanmar).

She is a bestselling author about Myanmar. Her book “When Global Meets Local – How Expatriates Can Succeed in Myanmar” has been creating a buzz in the expat community here and is genuinely welcome by expats and the media. Many expats say that “It should be compulsory reading for every expat here”.

Hana Bui does coaching, interactive and tailor-made sessions. She focuses on fast-tracking the performance of individuals and groups when in touch with new national and regional cultures and coach them to develop effective adjustment strategies for their own specific needs.
