CCI France Myanmar has just published today the report on its third anonymous salary survey launched in January 2020, available on its website to everyone for free (https://bit.ly/2UXZCoV).
The online questionnaire gathered a total of more than 500 answers from companies and professionals from all sectors operating in Myanmar. Like the 2019 edition of the survey is 100% and completely anonymous, thus guaranteeing the confidentiality of the data.
“It was important for this survey to be 100% anonymous”, says Mr. Guillaume Rebière, Executive Director of CCI France Myanmar. “Indeed, no company wants this kind of confidential information to be shared with competitors or on the market. At the same time, they also need information on the level of salaries in their sectors. The anonymous online questionnaire guaranteed both anonymity and access to the data. No one, even in our team, was able to identify the respondents.”
In addition, he also explains that “the 2020 edition of the survey shows the median salary in addition to the average salary, which makes the results much more reliable and representative of the reality of the market. This is the first publication of this kind of Myanmar, which provides data for free to anyone.”
The survey was launched before the effect of the Covid-19 global pandemic started in the country. “Therefore, this report is a picture of what the salaries were before the crisis hit Myanmar. Next year’s edition will definitively be important and interesting, since it will allow us to see if the crisis had a long-term impact on the salaries, or if they are already back to the same level as before, only one year after”, concludes Mr. Rebière.
CCI France Myanmar now also runs more detailed sectorial salary surveys, like the Hospitality Salary Survey 2020, which provides precise ranges of salaries by positions in the hotel sector in Myanmar. This confidential data was only made available to the 20 hotels who participated in the study. The French Chamber plans on extending its capacity to offer similar services to other sectors if companies are interested.
The Myanmar Salary Survey is launched and published annually. CCI France Myanmar hopes to continuously increase the number of participants to improve the quality and the reliability of the results year after year.
CCI France Myanmar will host a public webinar on 30th June 2020, at 2.30 pm, during which Mr. Guillaume Rebière will present the results of the Myanmar Salary Survey 2020.

“၁၀၀% အမည်မသိလျှို့ဝှက်ကောက်ယူရတာက ဒီစစ်တမ်းအတွက် အရေးအကြီးဆုံးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ လက်တွေ့မှာ ကုမ္ပဏီတွေအနေနဲ့ လစာဆိုင်ရာကိုးကားအချက်အလက်တွေကို အသုံးပြုဖို့ လိုအပ်နေပေမယ့်လည်း ဈေးကွက်ထဲမှာ ရှိနေတဲ့ ပြိုင်ဘက် ကုမ္ပဏီတွေနဲ့ ဒီလိုအချက်အလက်မျိုးကို မျှဝေဖို့ မဖြစ်နိုင်ပါဘူး။ အွန်လိုင်းပေါ်ကကောက်ယူတဲ့ ဒီစစ်တမ်းက မည်သည့် အချက်အလက်ကို မည်သူဖြေဆိုတယ်ဆိုတာ ကျွန်တော်တို့ အဖွဲ့အစည်းအပါအဝင် မည်သူမှ မသိနိုင်ရအောင် စီမံထားတယ်ဆိုတာ အာမခံနိုင်ပါတယ်။” ဟု ပြင်သစ် - မြန်မာ ကုန်သည်များနှင့် စက်မှုလက်မှုလုပ်ငန်းရှင်များအသင်: (CCI France Myanmar) ၏ အမှုဆောင် ဒါရိုက်တာ Mr. Guillaume Rebière ကပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။
“၂၀၂၀ လစာစစ်တမ်းမှာ ဘာတွေ တိုးတက်လာသလဲဆိုတော့ ပျမ်းမျှလစာအပြင် ဈေးကွက် ထဲမှာ တကယ်ရှိနေတဲ့ Median Salary (အလယ်ကိန်းလစာ) ကိုပါထည့်သွင်းဖော်ပြလာနိုင်တာကိုပါ။ Median Salary (အလယ်ကိန်းလစာ) ကို သိရခြင်းအားဖြင့် ပိုမို ယုံကြည်စိတ်ချရပြီး လက်တွေ့မှာ ပိုမို အသုံးဝင်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ ဒီလစာစစ်တမ်းမျိုးက မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ ပထမဆုံးအခမဲ့ ထုတ်ဝေတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။” ဟုလည်း၎င်းက ထပ်မံရှင်းပြခဲ့ပါသည်။
ကူးစက်မြန် အသက်ရှူလမ်းကြောင်းရောဂါ COVID-19 ရဲ့ ရိုက်ခတ်မှုကို မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ တွင် မခံစားရသေးမီ လစာစစ်တမ်းကို ကောက်ယူခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။ "ဒါကြောင့်မို့ ဒီစစ်တမ်းရဲ့ ရလဒ်တွေက အကျပ်အတည်းမဖြစ်ခင်မှာ ရှိခဲ့တဲ့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရဲ့ အလုပ်သမားဈေးကွက် လစာနှုန်းထားကို ထင်ဟပ်စေမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့် ၂၀၂၁ မှာ ထွက်မယ့် လစာစစ်တမ်းက အင်မတန် စိတ်ဝင်စားစရာကောင်းပါတယ်။ COVID-19 က လစာနှုန်းထားသတ်မှတ်ချက်အပေါ်မှာ သက်ရောက်မှု အကြာကြီးရှိမလား၊ ဒါမှမဟုတ် တနှစ်အကြာမှာ အရင်တုန်းက အခြေအနေကို မြန်မြန်ဆန်ဆန် ပြန်ရောက်နိုင်မလားဆိုတာ စိတ်ဝင်စားစရာကောင်းပါတယ်။" ဟု ထပ်မံ ရှင်းလင်းရင်း Mr. Rebière က ၎င်း၏အမှာစကားကို အဆုံးသတ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
