MEMBERS-ONLY EVENT (Rescheduled) 

We are pleased to invite you  to attend the Extraordinary General Meeting of the French Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting has been rescheduled to take place on Thursday, 6th July 2023 at 4:00 PM. We highly value your presence and participation at this important event.

The Extraordinary General Meeting will be conducted using a hybrid format, which means that you can choose to attend either in person (venue to be confirmed) or virtually via Zoom in the registration form. After completing the registration process, you will receive confirmation of your registration, and if you have opted to attend online, a link to the Zoom meeting will be sent to you prior to the event date.

*Please note that registration is mandatory for attendance, regardless of whether you choose to attend in person or virtually. *

Please note that the EGM has a limited number of seats, as follows:

• Partner members are entitled to 3 free seats
• Corporate members are entitled to 2 free seats
• SME/Organisation/Individual/Young Entrepreneurs are entitled to 1 free seat.

Please find enclosed the agenda of our Annual General Assembly. Note that both online and on-site event registration will be closed by 6 pm, 4 July 2023.

1- Elections of the Board of Directors

Please be advised that two Directors have resigned from their positions on the Board of CCI France Myanmar in 2022.

In view of their resignations, the by-election for three new Directors of the Board for 2023-2025 will be held during this event. The election will be conducted according to the rules stated in our Constitution:

Only members attending the EGM and up-to-date with the payment of their Membership fees will be permitted to vote.

Each member is allowed only one vote, but they may appoint another member to vote on their behalf using the proxy form attached.

Only one proxy is allowed per member.

2- Candidates

The Board of Directors is open to any Member of CCI France Myanmar who is up-to-date with the payment of their Membership fees.

Candidates are required to make a 1-minute presentation on-site, or a 1-minute introduction video can be submitted if they are not currently in Yangon. The video will be played during the EGM.
