Introduction

Myanmar is currently reaching the peak of the pandemic. All companies have had to manage with a large number of their employees getting sick, with many employees being incapacitated by the symptoms or by psychological trauma (depression, PTSD, grieving, …), with many employees losing family members or passing away, and with all employees facing economic and financial challenges because of the situation.

While the Covid-19 is spreading among the population and because the health services don’t have the necessary resources to deal with this crisis, companies have to improvise, be innovative and very often substitute themselves to public services, in order to support their employees and their families.

Objective

This informal meeting aims at helping our Members to manage their human resources in this time of crisis by sharing experiences and good practices.

This meeting will not be recorded and will not give way to written minutes or presentations, in order to preserve the confidentiality of the information shared by the participants.

All participants are expected to speak and to share the situation and challenges faced by their companies, and to present the solution that they have implemented.
