Interview with Mr. Harry Antarakis, newly arrived CEO of MyJobs Myanmar

Can you please tell us about your background?

I am an experienced professional, with a demonstrated history of working in the digital industry. I did specialize in marketing and people management, have worked in building projects with Machine Learning, and Block-Chain tech. I am strong in general management and business development with a Black Belt Certification in Six Sigma.

 

In addition, can you please tell us a few words about your current organization in Myanmar and the sector you are working in?

MyJobs is the pioneer of recruitment services in Myanmar since 2012. MyJobs offers Online Recruitment, Recruitment Agency Service, Blue Collar Recruitment, Career & HR events, Job Fairs, Employer Branding, Candidate and Employee Assessment services for positions and vacancies in Myanmar.

I am focusing more on strategic product and marketing to attract the maximum qualify number of candidates for our partners.

What were your perceptions of Myanmar before your arrival?

I knew it is an exotic and beautiful country but not much known with the local people how nice they are.

I came to know that Myanmar is such a beautiful country with very polite and friendly locals. Their welcoming to foreigners is so unique. It’s a great pleasure to work so far. Much potentials for new opportunities.

 

Are there any adaptations you have to make in Myanmar for the business strategy?

I will more focus on building the team through training, sharing of experiences and towards improving the operations.

 

What would be your message to share with the workforce in Myanmar?

To keep learning to be digital. And help your companies to grow more and more.
