Myanmar is currently under instability, plus it is badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. It has brought about further challenges to expatriates managing their teams in Myanmar, especially the ones that are operating remotely. Meanwhile, culture is an inevitable part of doing business – it is the biggest challenge of expat working overseas, according to The Economist.

Have you thought about how to collaborate better with your team in Myanmar in this tough time? What are the real difficulties that your Myanmar colleagues are facing? What do they think and feel at the moment? What are the causes of intercultural conflicts and how should you manage them?

The cultural insights come from understanding Myanmar culture – the people, their values, attitudes, and behaviours, and understanding of the current situations in Myanmar.

This open webinar is a great opportunity to sample cultural training first-hand and see our intercultural trainer Hana Bui, who is also a bestselling author about Myanmar and currently living in Yangon. You would also find out more about the two cultural workshops that we offer:

(1) Myanmar Cultural Awareness and

(2) Bridging the cultural gaps for national and international colleagues to get the best collaboration under this challenging time in Myanmar.

Who should attend:

  • Expatriates working in Myanmar and coming to Myanmar
  • Expatriates managing teams in Myanmar remotely
