Dr. Martin Michalon, Head of Risk Management
Martin Michalon has been living and working in Myanmar since 2014. A geographer by profession, he completed a PhD on the geopolitics of tourism in Inle Lake region, before working in the development sector. He has produced several analyses, articles and book chapters about the Myanmar political situation. This experience has given him a solid command of research in challenging environments and an understanding of the geopolitics in Myanmar.
Hein Htet, Security Analyst
Hein Htet has a background in political science, research and media relations. Prior to EXERA, he worked as a researcher at the Center for Media, Data and Society in Budapest, Hungary. He holds a master’s degree in political science from Central European University. His thesis focused on the relations between the military regime of Myanmar and ethnic armed groups.
