CCI France Myanmar has just published today the results of its second anonymous salary survey launched in January 2019, available on its website to everyone for free.

The online questionnaire gathered a total of 585 answers from companies and professionals from all sectors operating in Myanmar. It is two times more than the 2018 first edition of the survey. Like the 2018 edition, the 2019 edition of the survey is 100% and completely anonymous, thus guaranteeing the confidentiality of the data.

“It was important for this survey to be 100% anonymous”, says Mr. Guillaume Rebière, Executive Director of CCI France Myanmar. “Indeed, no company wants this kind of confidential information to be shared with competitors or on the market. At the same time, they also need information on the level of salaries in their sector. The anonymous online questionnaire guaranteed both anonymity and access to the data. No one, even in our team, was able to identify the respondents.”

In addition, he also explains that “the main improvement in the 2019 edition of the survey compared to last year’s, is the calculation of the median salary in addition to the average salary, which makes the results much more reliable and representative of the reality of the market. This is the first publication of this kind of Myanmar, which provides data for free to anyone.”

CCI France Myanmar now also runs more detailed sectorial salary surveys, like the Hotel Salary Survey 2019, which provides precise ranges of salaries by positions in the hotel sector in Myanmar. This confidential data was only made available to the 18 hotels, who agreed to participate in the study. The French Chamber plans on extending this service to other sectors soon.

The Myanmar Salary Survey will be launched and published annually. CCI France Myanmar hopes to continuously increase the number of participants to improve the quality and the reliability of the results year after year.

The French Chamber will host a public conference on 27th June 2019, at 8.30 am, at Lotte Hotel, to have Mr. Simon Bruce, General Manager of MyWorld Myanmar, present the results of the Myanmar Salary Survey 2019.

အြန္လိုင္းေပၚမွ ေကာက္ယူခဲ့ေသာ ယင္းစစ္တမ္းတြင္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံတြင္ လုပ္ကိုင္ေနၾကေသာ က႑ေပါင္းစံု အသီးသီးမွ ကုမၸဏီေပါင္း ၅၈၅ ခုထံမွ အေျဖမ်ားရရွိခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ၂၀၁၈ အတြက္ လစာစစ္တမ္းေကာက္ယူခဲ့စဥ္ကမူ ကုမၸဏီ ၂၄၃ ထံမွသာ ေကာက္ယူခဲ့ရျခင္း ျဖစ္ေသာေၾကာင့္ ယခုႏွစ္အတြင္း ပါ၀င္ေျဖဆိုေပးၾကေသာ ကုမၸဏီမ်ားမွာ ယမန္ႏွစ္ကထက္ ၂ဆေက်ာ္ပိုမိုပါ၀င္ေနသျဖင့္ ပိုမိုတိက်ေသာ ရလဒ္မ်ား ျဖစ္ပါသည္။ ၂၀၁၈ မွကဲ့သို႔ပင္ ယခုစစ္တမ္းသည္ ၁၀၀% အမည္မသိေကာက္ယူထားျခင္းျဖစ္ပါသည္။

“ဒီစစ္တမ္းက ၁၀၀% အမည္မသိလွ်ိဳ႕၀ွက္ေကာက္ယူဖို႔က အေရးအႀကီးဆံုးပါ။ လက္ေတြ႔မွာ ကုမၸဏီေတြအေနနဲ႔ လစာဆိုင္ရာကိုးကားအခ်က္အလက္ေတြကို အသံုးျပဳဖို႔ လိုအပ္ေနေပမယ့္လည္း ေစ်းကြက္ထဲမွာ ရွိေနတဲ့ ျပိဳင္ဘက္ ကုမၸဏီေတြနဲ႔ ဒီလိုအခ်က္အလက္မ်ိဳးကို မွ်ေ၀ဖို႔ မျဖစ္ႏိုင္ပါဘူး။ အြန္လိုင္းေပၚကေကာက္ယူတဲ့ ဒီစစ္တမ္းက မည္သည္႔ အခ်က္အလက္ကို မည္သူေျဖဆိုတယ္ဆိုတာ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ အဖြဲ႔အစည္းအပါအ၀င္ မည္သူမွ မသိႏိုင္ရေအာင္ စီမံထားတယ္ဆိုတာ အာမခံနိုင္ပါတယ္။” ဟု CCI France Myanmar ၏ အမႈေဆာင္ ဒါရိုက္တာ Mr. Guillaume Rebière ကေျပာၾကားပါသည္။
