On 7th October 2019, our member, EDF, Infraco Asia and SolaRiseSys signed for Memorandum of Understanding on 2 micro-grid projects in Myanmar at M-Gallary Nay Pyi Daw. This will be part of the journey to develop 2 micro-grid pilots projects in Myanmar through a partnership between EDF, InfraCo Asia and SolaRiseSys, with a disruptive new business model without any subsidies. These 2 projects will allow to more than 3000 people from remote rural areas to have access to electricity.
