Yangon – CCI France Myanmar, the French Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has just launched the 4th edition of its annual Myanmar Salary Survey for 2021, which is the first and only free survey of this type published in Myanmar.
This online questionnaire is 100% anonymous, free of charge, and aims at collecting data on the salaries in the country, covering all main positions in all sectors.
The specificity of the 2021 edition is that it also includes questions to assess the impact of the Covid-19 crisis on salaries and human resources in Myanmar.
The results will be published in May 2021 and will be made available for free of charge to all companies. The publication will show the evolution of salaries before the pandemic and one year after it started, which will make it a unique source of public information in the country.
“This guide is a very powerful and useful tool for companies in Myanmar, who want to recruit or manage their human resources in accordance with the market”, explains Mr. Guillaume Rebière, Executive Director of CCI France Myanmar. “Indeed, it is very difficult for them to obtain economic data in the country without having to pay a high price for their own surveys or without having to build their own digital tools. We consider that offering this survey for free to all companies is part of our duty to the public as a Chamber of Commerce. Of course, we guarantee confidentiality, especially since we don’t collect any information that could help identify companies individually. And the results that we publish are only combined collective data”.
Last year, the 3rd edition of the survey gathered more than 500 answers from companies and professionals operating in all sectors in Myanmar. The 2020 edition is still available for free download here: https://bit.ly/3d7NlER
CCI France Myanmar hopes that even more companies will participate in the 2021 edition. Companies who wish to participate in this public service, can already start answering the online anonymous questionnaire here:
