Cross-culture leadership is the biggest challenge for expatriates working overseas. All these challenges also apply while expatriates work with/in Myanmar, a country with a long and rich cultural life. Working with totally different communication styles and behaviours would be painful for many expatriates, especially when Myanmar has been just open to the world for a decade.

Have you ever thought about how to get the best collaboration from your Myanmar colleagues in this tough time? Are you aware of Myanmar's key cultural values? To learn all about these, CCI France Myanmar is hosting a breakfast event for you to meet an expert talking about the most important things expatriates should know when working with Myanmar people on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

This Connect @ Breakast_Cultural Adaptation session will be conducted in English by Intercultural Trainer for expatriates, Ms. Hana Bui. Hana is a bestselling author about Myanmar of the book “When Global Meets Local – How Expatriates Can Succeed in Myanmar”, a must-read one for every expatriate in Myanmar.

The event aims to help expatriates to work well with their Myanmar Colleagues for achieving success in Myanmar. There will be a book signing corner by the author and the author will contribute 25% of the book sales to people in need in Myanmar. You can also order the book by contacting hanabui.mm@gmail.com for books with authors’ signature and free delivery in Yangon. The book price is 34,000 MMK/book.

The event is open to both members and non-members and FMCCI would like to invite all expatriates, today’s and future business leaders as well as HR heads to join this cross-cultural knowledge-sharing session together with us.
